Dr. Muhammad Shareh Qazi
Dr. Muhammad Shareh Qazi is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of the Punjab and holds a PhD in International Relations focused on nuclear diplomacy between India and Pakistan. A 2023 South Asian Voices Fellow at the Stimson Center (Washington DC) and former Nuclear Responsibilities Ambassador for BASIC-UK, he also received the Certificate of Merit in Academic Excellence from NDU Islamabad. Author of Escalation Patterns in South Asia: The Future of Credible Minimum Deterrence, Dr. Qazi specializes in nuclear strategy, warfare, and maritime security. An accomplished public speaker since 2000, he has represented Pakistan internationally in debating and Model UN competitions, coached debate societies at leading universities, and has been affiliated with the Directorate of Student Affairs at Punjab University since 2006.
Dr. Mohammad Irfan Malik
Professor Dr. Mohammad Irfan Malik is a highly accomplished and experienced medical specialist in Pulmonology (Chest Diseases), Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine, boasting 20 years of practice in Lahore, Pakistan. His extensive qualifications include an MBBS, FCPS (Pulmonology), FRCP (Glasgow), and a European Diplomate in Adult Respiratory Medicine. Beyond his academic roles as a Professor at the University of Lahore and an Associate Professor at the Postgraduate Medical Institute/LGH, Dr. Irfan Malik has significantly contributed to medical infrastructure by establishing a state-of-the-art respiratory unit and the country's only certified international standard sleep lab at Niazi Hospital, offering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services for complex lung and sleep disorders.
Barrister Muhammad Ahmad Pansota
Barrister Muhammad Ahmad Pansota is a prominent Pakistani lawyer specializing in constitutional, public interest, and civil litigation. An alumnus of Aitchison College and Lincoln’s Inn (called to the Bar in 2005), he co-founded Ahmed & Pansota – Advocates & Legal Consultants in 2007 after beginning his career at Cornelius, Lane & Mufti. He frequently appears before higher courts in cases involving constitutional, corporate, and regulatory matters and is a well-known legal analyst who has hosted PTV’s Capital View. He has held public roles, including Chairperson of PEMRA’s Council of Complaints (Lahore) and board memberships with the Pakistan Sports Board and Punjab Education Foundation. A member of various government reform committees, he has contributed to key legislation such as the Punjab Domestic Workers Act 2019. Part of Imran Khan’s legal team since 2006, he also chairs the Legal Forum of the Youth General Assembly and teaches law at Kinnaird College and UMT.
Dr. Asma Hamid Awan
Dr. Asma Hamid Awan currently serves as the Dean of Postgraduate Programs and Head of the Department of Political Science & Pakistan Studies at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore. She holds a PhD in Political Science and an MPhil in Political Science, both from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. Dr. Awan is an accomplished academic and researcher with expertise in Peace & Conflict Studies, bringing valuable insights to contemporary political discourse and regional security issues. Her leadership in the department has fostered academic excellence and encouraged critical engagement with pressing political challenges facing Pakistan and the broader South Asian region. As an Associate Professor and Graduate Dean, Dr. Awan plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic trajectory of postgraduate students. Her commitment to quality education and research has contributed significantly to Kinnaird’s reputation as a leading institution for women’s higher education in Pakistan. Dr. Awan’s scholarly work and administrative leadership reflect her dedication to advancing political science education while promoting analytical thinking and informed citizenship among her students. Her expertise makes her a respected voice in academic and policy circles on matters of political development, governance, and conflict resolution.
